On the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, The Casselberry Chess Club holds either a 3 or 4 Round FREE chess tournament at the Casselberry Recreation Center (200 North Triplett Drive) in Casselberry. Registration is between 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM with rds at 10:15 -11:15 – 12:15 and (1:15). We have a 4 round tournament if we have 16 players in the tournament. The time control is G/1 hour, these tournaments are non-rated and we play the Swiss-System.

We utilize a chess clock Game/5 at the end of Rd 1, 2, 3, if necessary. When we use the chess clock, touch move does not apply - punching the clock concludes a move. For the final round – no chess clock is used, the game is played to completion.

We currently average around 15 chess players per tournament. Kurt Baz and Brian Trueba of the CFCC regularly play in our tournaments. Membership in the Casselberry Chess Club is FREE.

We cordially invite all CFCC members to join us. If we have enough scholastics, they will play in their own swiss-system tournament.
