CFCC Announces Winners of Mar 5th Online Rapid Prize Tournament!
Saturday’s Online Rapid Winners (3/5)
$250 Prize Fund Percentage: 100% (based on 19/18 players)
Congratulations to Sina Movahed (Akbar_mo) who won all 4 rounds to take clear 1st place in Saturday’s Rapid tournament earning a prize of $80, GM Aleksej Aleksandrov (aleksandrovaleksei) captured clear 2nd place with 3.5/4 points and a prize of $50. Eric Cooke (thingone11) and Andras Dankhazi (Kimster98) tied for 3rd place with 3/4 points and a prize of $15ea. Sandor_Chess relied on software to assist in making move decisions and therefore is ineligible to win any prizes.
Under Prizes
With 2/4 points, Andrew Catlin (acatlin) and Rob Lachaussee (Youllsoonbedust) tied for our Top U1800 prize with a payout of $15ea. Michael Thomas (gmiket) won our Top U1500 prize of $30. Xanderb13 initially qualified for our Top U1200 of $30 but became ineligible for the prize when chess.com closed the player’s account for fair-play violations.
We had 19 club players competing in Saturday’s rapid online prize tournament that includes a chess.com results table listing all the players and tournament standings.
